Highly qualified staff for a more remote location. Very friendly with great patient care and bedside manner. The only negative is that IT is in such a remote area and has a limited number specialist i.e., Neurology. That is completely understandable given the size of the hospital and it's location. I very much appreciate the nurses, doctors, and staff at this hospital.

Thank you so much to the nursing staff and doctors on the third floor. You were all so professional, attentive, kind, and concerned. Our father could not have had better care anywhere. You are all a great team, and an asset to the community

Made a late-night emergency room visit and I am sorry to say, it was some of the worst service I have received from a medical provider. From the minute I walked in, I was made to feel like I was burdening the staff and that kind of treatment persisted throughout my visit. The only exception was one of the RNs (unfortunately, I did not get her name) who was the only person to demonstrate any kind of care, kindness, or interest in my well-being. I would strongly recommend that all ER staff receive some training in customer service and patient care. The people of the San Luis Valley deserve better.

ER visits take hours, I've been seen many times and each time they manage to keep me for hours. Not because I'm not stable but because they are slow. Even just getting blood tested takes them hours. My husband came in today at 1pm and still has not came out, and its night time already. I just wanna go home, its late!!!

The doctor would not allow me to leave and in doing so saved my life. Thank you all for your professionalism, taking great care of me and saving my life by not letting me go. Thank you:)
